Philip Ryken

Educated at Wheaton College, Westminster Theological Seminary, and the University of Oxford, Philip Ryken is the president of Wheaton College. He is the author or editor of more than 30 books, including Art for God's Sake: A Call to Recover the Arts and expository commentaries on Exodus, Jeremiah, Luke, and other books of the Bible. When he is not preaching or teaching, Phil likes to play basketball and ponder the relationship between Christianity and American culture.

Luke 18:9-14

Perhaps you know someone who doesn’t steal or run with a bad crowd. They attend church, pray, and even give generously to the poor. Yet in spite of all the evident devotion, they don't appear to have saving faith. How can this be?
